The cost of having pets is already quite high, but the rising cost of living has made keeping your pet a lot more difficult. The RSPCA found that Google searches for “can I give my dog paracetamol” have almost tripled since January 2020. In May this year, the number of searches for the same phrase was 28% higher than even at the height of lockdown.
