Pride Conversation: Ron and Kay

Ron came out as gay in his late 70's and Kay, who at the age of 69, is transitioning to be a woman get together to talk about their experiences. Both talk about knowing they were LGBTQ+ at a time where being gay was still illegal and taboo. But also, discover more about each other and talk about how now being themselves later in life feels. This 'Pride Conversation' is part of a special series on BBC Radio Stoke to mark 50 years of the Pride movement in the UK.
