Gorillas with Ian Redmond

Anna King

Available for over a year

It's been more than 40 years since Sir David Attenborough met the mountain gorillas of Rwanda - they were, at the time, on the brink of extinction. Despite the odds, their numbers have increased, thanks to a huge conservation effort. Ian Redmond from Rodborough is a conservationist, field biologist and filmaker who has a lifetime association with mountain gorillas - and it was him who introduced Sir David Attenborough to the gorillas in 1978, for the famous BBC ‘Life on Earth’ sequences. His mentor was the late Diane Fossey.
