Amateur jockey completes fundraiser on crutches

An amateur jockey from Cumbria, who broke her hip, has managed to walk round a racecourse on crutches to raise money for charity. Morgan Prescott, from Temple Sowerby near Penrith, was going to race on horseback in the 'Ride of their Lives' for MacMillan Cancer Support in York on Saturday 11 June 2023.
