As the government approves plans to drill for oil in the Surrey Hills.... BBC Radio Surrey asked to speak to someone from UK Oil and Gas – but were told no one was available. But we did hear from campaigner Sarah Godwin from the group, Protect Dunsfold. Charles McAllister from the trade body, UK Onshore Oil and Gas. Steve Williams is the councillor in charge of Environment and Sustainability at Waverley Borough Council. Ashley Herman from Thatched House Farm in Dunsfold. and Kirsty Cluff is from the Extinction Rebellion Waverley and Borders group as well as Waverley Friends of the Earth.
