“They’ve not done anything to help us”

Twiggy

Available for over a year

Travel disruption continues to cause problems for holidaymakers as cancelled flights leave many people stranded abroad. Zoe Parnell from Blackwell travelled to Tenerife with her partner and two children. They'd booked an extra day off work to allow for any delays, but did not account for cancellations. The family have now been stuck on holiday an additional four days, with Zoe critical of airline Wizz Air for not doing enough to help. WizzAir says the issues are due to a widespread shortage in staff. It says it's increased communications with passengers and is doing all it can to help as many passengers reach their destinations as possible. Earlier today, Zoe spoke to BBC Radio Derby's Andy Twigge
