Nigeria: Gunmen kill dozens in Catholic church ‘massacre’

Authorities in Nigeria have not released an official death toll, but children are believed to be among the dead. Josiah Oluwole is a journalist for Nigerian online newspaper the Premium Times and is in Ondo state, where the attack took place. He tells Newsday unknown gunmen “first threw in some explosive devices and while the worshippers started scampering for safety, they opened fire on them”.
