Pain over IVF postcode lottery

Alun Newman

Available for over a year

Hampshire, Southampon, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth are two of six health areas in England where women over 35 are not allowed assisted conception treatment (IVF) on the NHS. Nice guidelines suggest three cycles should be offered to women struggling to conceive anytime up to their 40th birthday. The MP for Gosport Caroline Dinenage has raised the injustice with the Health Secretary Sajid Javid. We hear from Emma from the New Forest who's 37 and affected by this.
