Chris Goreham

Available for over a year

Thetford Town player-manager Matt Morton says he helped Jake Daniels come out. Daniels, who plays for Blackpool, is the first openly gay and active professional footballer for more than 30 years. Morton came out in 2019 and says he's spoken to numerous players who have reached out to him since then. He told BBC Radio Norfolk he'd been advising Daniels since the "beginning of the year".
