What can you do if you're struggling to pay your bills?

Paul Salt

Available for over a year

It's almost a month on since energy bills became more expensive through the lifting of the price cap. New research from Uswitch shows that the amount of money people owe suppliers in the UK has doubled in a year to reach 1 billion pounds, with nearly a quarter of customers currently in 'energy debt'. It could mean more people continuing to struggle with soaring bills. What can you do if you're struggling with rises in your bills? Helen Fisher is the Financial Inclusion and Training Manager at Liverpool Community Advice.
