The BMX revolution is being celebrated in Hornchurch this weekend (Sat 23 April) with a big event at ROM Skatepark. It's being held in conjunction with the launch of a book called "We Were RAD" which celebrates the birth of the BMX revolution in the 1980s. BBC Essex speaks to Josephine Burston, a 60-year-old BMX enthusiast who trains at a track in Braintree, Antony Frascina and Clint Pilkington who wrote the book "We Were RAD" and also Alan Woods, the first British BMX Champion and the “Godfather of BMX”.
