Changes to bus services in Essex

From Sunday 17 April, First Essex will be introducing some new bus routes, and adapting and removing others. Details are up at bus stops, and online - but there has been a lot of questions about the changes, and some discontent too. Piers Marlow, managing director of First Buses in Essex, tells BBC Essex that the changes are because of several factors, including a reduction in passenger numbers, a fall in funding from government, and staff sickness due to Covid-19.
