Schools with fewer disadvantaged children receive more funding

The National Education Union Annual Conference gets underway in Bournemouth. Up to 1600 delegates due will attend. Last week the government released its first White Paper on Schools in 6 years. Among the topics covered, it said it wants to push for most schools to become academies by 2030 and create a longer school day for many schools.
