What does record number of Covid cases mean for hospitals?

On Friday the Office For National Statistics says the amount of people with Covid was the highest they'd ever seen... with one in 13 people infected in the week up to the 26th of March. But with all lockdown rules abolished and free testing no more... it seems we are now being left to live with it. Over the last couple of year's we've heard from those working at our hospitals about the extreme strain they've been put under by the virus... so what's the situation right now? BBC Radio Merseyside's Marc Gaier has been speaking to Dr David Levy, Medical Director for the NHS in the North West:
