Fleece Hotel in Gloucester is being restored

One of Gloucester's oldest buildings in the city centre is undergoing a £3.9 million pound refurb. Historic England have teamed up with Gloucester city Council to make sure the Grade 1 listed Medieval Fleece Inn is preserved. The project will take place over the next three years as part of major heritage conservation works in Gloucester. BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Edward Rowe has been along explore it all with Conservation officer Kate Biggs and Main Project Officer Claire Dovey-Evans.
