Parkgate Nature Reserve blaze - what does it mean for wildlife?

A huge area of marshland in the popular beauty spot at Parkgate in Cheshire has been devastated by fire at the weekend. The blaze covered around a square kilometre and came very close to houses. Fire breaks put in place stopped it from spreading further. Cheshire Police believe it was started deliberately They are now trying to find a group of teenagers seen around the time it started on Saturday night in the area. Robin Horner is the RSPB Area Manager for the North West.
