Dr Julia Shaw and comedian Sofie Hagen speak to Gordon Corera, BBC’s Security Correspondent as well as the Security Consultant on Killing Eve. Gordon knows a lot about the real world of assassins and spies as he’s reported on it for many years. In this special episode he tells us just how much of Killing Eve is based on real life truths and events. How many assassins are really out there? What is the difference between an assassin and a contract killer? And who creates the fake identities that spies have? They also discuss ‘dry cleaning’, secret recording devices and why it is probably harder to recruit spies today than it might have been in the past.
