Campaign for 24/7 hot food for NHS staff

Claire Carter on BBC Radio Somerset

Available for over a year

Neely Mozawala, a podiatrist from Taunton, is calling on NHS Trusts to provide hot food 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She started the 'No Hungry Staff' campaign after discovering that colleagues working night shifts and at weekends often don't have access to hot food. Neely talks to Charlie Taylor about the campaign and tells him some NHS trusts who weren't providing hot food 24/7 have agreed to do so. Tanya Mohamed, an intensive care doctor at the BRI in Bristol, tells Charlie why it's not always easy to prepare food to take to work and why being able to buy a hot meal at her hospital would make a big difference.
