Essex's newest zoo

Call Of The Wild Zoo has been built on the old site of Tropical Wings in South Woodham Ferrers. Tropical Wings closed in 2017 and has been derelict ever since. Ryan Shorter bought the site in 2021 and has spent the last few months building new enclosures, sourcing animals and reinvigorating old attractions such as the popular tropical butterfly house.
