Concerns for new Liverpool Cruise Terminal

Paul Salt

Available for over a year

A maritime industry leader is warning a failure to deliver a new cruise liner terminal in Liverpool would be hugely damaging to the city region's economy. There are growing concerns the long standing plans for the new terminal could be shelved because of worries about the state of the post Covid cruise market and concerns it's development would clash with Liverpool's commitment to a new zero carbon future. The Industry leader voicing these fears is the chief executive of Mersey Maritime, Chris Shirling Rooke.
