Covid measures led to fall in hospital admissions in children

There has been a lot of talk about how the usual winter flu numbers, which generally affect older people, have been much lower over the past two years, due to mask wearing, washing hands and social distancing. Well now The British medical Journal has released a new study, which show measures to tackle Covid-19 also led to a "dramatic" fall in hospital admissions for common childhood infections, as well. But now that kids are back in school are these figure rising? Dr Ravi Jayaram is Consultant Paediatrician at the Countess of Chester hospital.
