Veganism: Would having a vegan pet help save the planet?

Hazelbury Bryan Green Party councillor Ken Huggins has fed his cat, Muffin, a vegan diet ever since adopting him ten years ago. Muffin is also an indoor cat, Ken says, to prevent the loss of birds. He's told BBC Radio Solent that having a vegan pet is 'responsible pet ownership'.
