How to recycle your Christmas tree and raise much needed cash for local charities.

In its third year now, the Coventry & Warwickshire Charity Xmas Treecycling volunteers are back supporting families affected by cancer. Pass the Smile was set up in memory of Coventry schoolboy Ben Crowther, they've partnered with Myton Hospice to share monies raised by the two charities. Last year during lockdown 1200 trees were collected which raised £16,000. Scott Crowther is Ben's father and organiser of the tree collection and Clare Cropp is from Myton Hospice, they spoke with Ed Nell about why the event is so important for both charities.
