The number of black cab drivers in Coventry has fallen 22% since the pandemic. The figures comes after a report by the Licensed Private Hire Care Association which estimates the industry is short of 160,000 drivers. Councillor Patricia Heatherton, Cabinet Member for City Services, has been speaking to BBC CWR about how they are trying to support taxi drivers.
