Coventry’s annual Christmas lights switch on is back after being cancelled last year due to Covid. BBC CWR will host the event in Broadgate on Wednesday 17 November The event “Under a sky full of stars” will be a night to celebrate local talent and people who “make a difference” in the city. The evening, starts with a spectacular illuminated “magical musical” drumming parade through the city centre with the amazing Spark! Drummers, There will also be appearances on stage and on the big screen of local “stars” before a countdown to the switch on of all the Christmas lights and a rooftop firework finale!
