Southampton 'hero' saves black swan found tangled in Riverside Park

A Southampton resident has been haied a 'hero' for rescuing a distressed swan, in Southampton's Riverside Park. The black swan was bleeding, and tangled in fishing wire. Jo and Leslie from Bitterne both called BBC Radio Solent's Saturday Breakfast show having seen 'Jamie' rescue the swan. A local vet treating the swan says it's 'doing well' and has had the fishing line removed.
