Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Dave "Dinger" Bell became the first person to row solo, unsupported across the North Atlantic from west to east. He spent 119 days at sea, battling bad weather and dwindling food supplies. The expedition was self-funded, with money raised going to two charities, The SBS Association and Rock 2 Recovery UK. He spoke with BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris.
