What can be done to help children with long Covid?

Health Check

Available for over a year

Covid-19 doesn’t tend to affect children as badly as adults. However early studies suggest one to five per cent of children experience long Covid symptoms, such as fatigue, breathing problems and even hair loss. Dr Monica Lakhanpaul, Professor of Integrated Community Child Health at University College London, talks about one piece of research called the CLoCk Study, which involved 7,000 teenagers. She also explains what can be done to help a child with long Covid. (Image: Tired child, Credit: Getty Images.)
