Weymouth boat skipper praised after deer sea rescue

A Weymouth boat skipper has been dubbed an unlikely hero after rescuing a young deer from the sea over the weekend. The drama unfolded close to Weymouth harbour just before Saturday lunchtime. Mark Bowditch is skipper of the mackerel fishing charter boat, Sole Venture, which came to the aid of the stricken animal. Mark and boat passenger Natasha Lloyd told BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris what happened.
