As the country shut down, babies kept being born and many new parents didn't get the special moment of showing off their newborns to family and friends. If you ask any grandparent, they'll tell you grandchildren are the reward for all those years of hard parenting slog, but for those made grandparents since last March, the pandemic has meant missing out on a year or more of their lives.
