Mums' Mental Health

Stuart George

Available for over a year

Anxious, isolated and scared to leave the house, that’s how some new mums have described having a baby during COVID19. Doesn't sound much like the 'newborn bubble' that new parents float around in, albeit sleep deprived and slightly dazed. One study suggests six in 10 new mums were concerned about their own mental health during the pandemic. As part of 'Lockdown Babies' some of our parents told us what impact it's had on their mental health. Hear more of their stories on BBC Radio Stoke and on BBC Sounds.
