Every day dog walkers and their furry friends enjoy the 120 acres on offer at Coventry’s War Memorial Park so the Friends of the War Memorial, invited the Coventry branch of the RSPCA to be part of the anniversary. They’ve been taking photos of local dogs that enjoy walking in the park and have had them on display. Dawn Pawlett from the Coventry branch of RSPCA, an independent charity based at Coundon Wedge in the city, spoke to Vic Minett about taking part in the birthday celebrations and explained why their service is more in demand than ever as people in the city adjust to life after lockdown.
