Budapest holds Pride gathering after anti-LGBT law passage

Newshour

Available for over a year

LGBT people and their supporters have marched through the capital city of Hungary to defend their rights. Viktor Orban's right-wing government is seeking to create a hostile environment for them, attempting to limit discussion of homosexuality and transgender issues in schools. Tamás Dombos is a spokesperson for Hatter, the country's leading LGBTQI rights association. He was on the march today and told Newshour's Julian Marshall more about it.
