Jimmy Carpenter

Available for over a year

Seventy-two hours on from England's Euro 2020 final defeat and the racial abuse that followed, a five-year-old boy from Leicester has written an inspirational letter to England and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford. Rashford, who missed in the penalty shootout, was subjected to racial abuse alongside teammates Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho. But Amay decided to write a letter to the 23-year-old, having watched his first ever game of football. Amay and his mum Neha spoke to BBC Radio Leicester’s Jimmy Carpenter.
