Aneke's previous experience of playing under Lee Bowyer was the key to his move to St Andrew's. The 27-year old arrived on a free transfer from Charlton where the pair had worked together for two seasons. Speaking to BBC Radio WM at Blues' training camp in South Ayrshire, Aneke stressed that the move made sense for him.
