'Children form money habits as young as seven'

According to research, children start forming financial habits at the age of 7. At present, it isn't compulsory for money skills to be taught in primary school. In their quest to teach young people skills for life, The Scouts Association has teamed up with HSBC bank to launch their first ever 'Money Skills' badge to increase 6-10 year old's understanding of money through creative, hands-on activities which is relevant to their scouting.
