Hundreds of dead fish have been found in a stretch of the New River in North London. Residents were concerned the river had been poisoned, but it’s now believed that last week’s heatwave, followed by heavy rainfall, caused oxygen levels to drop, killing all the fish. BBC Radio London’s Anna O’Neill has been to the scene.
