YOUTH POWER - is a youth empowerment charity set up to work with communities to engage, inspire and educate young people with a central commitment to empower the youth for constructive engagement and empowerment for a sustainable future. ​They provide skills development programmes that are beneficial to young people in order to up-skill them, organising workshops and activities to raise awareness of various subject matters that are related and are of interest to young people such as mental health, crime and youth violence, career and employability amongst others, providing training support in areas such as IT, digital media etc. and creating exciting experiences that will empower young people to do things far beyond what they think is possible, while deepening their own sense of empowerment, confidence, self-esteem and personal responsibility. They have been travelling to different towns in the UK to connect with communities around knife crime, Cad caught up with O, Daniel and Esther in Ipswich town centre, to find out what the project is all about:
