Episode details

Available for over a year
After two-and-a-half years closed and a £16m refurbishment the new look, newly named, Dorset Museum has opened its doors. The renovation means it'll be able to display more of its millions of artefacts, including fossils, sculptures by Dame Elisabeth Frink, novelist Thomas Hardy's pens and Bronze Age axes. Only a fraction were able to be seen before. The museum's executive director Jon Murden spoke to BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris.
