How do you move a 2,000-year-old mosaic from the floor to the wall of Dorset Museum?
Steve HarrisAvailable for over a year
You, quite literally, won't be able to miss the Fordington Mosaic in the newly refurbished Dorset Museum. Previously displayed on the floor, a team of experts have moved the 2,000-year-old artefact onto a wall in the museum's new atrium. The project has now been nominated for an award. Berenice Humphreys from Cliveden Conservation has been telling Radio Solent's Steve Harris how they managed it.
