A PE teacher from Leicester has been preparing to take on the challenge of his life, in memory of his brother Mark Davies, who died from a brain tumour. Later today 36-year-old Geraint Davies is taking on a 450-mile epic bike ride, which he hopes to compete within five days. The cause is close to his heart as Gerarint also lost a former student to the disease. He is hoping to raise money for Brain Tumour Research and pay tribute to his brother.
