Mid-morning on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

The Mallard, dubbed Long Boi, has gained around 26,000 followers on Instagram, all because he is so tall! Standing on his webbed feet, Long Boi is said to be 70cm tall, towering over all other ducks living on the University of York's campus lake. His fame has grown so much that not only are people taking selfies with him but there's even Long Boi merchandise. He's even found fame over the pond on The Late Show with James Corden. BBC Radio Leicester's Ben Jackson spoke to Zoe Duffin, from Mountsorrel, who runs Long Boi's Instagram account while studying at York University
