Giant planet Earth ‘Gaia’ installation to be held at Leicester Cathedral

Mid-morning on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

Something very special is coming to Leicester next month. It’s the one thing none of us can live without and the one thing we should be doing everything we can to protect. Earth. After the hugely successful museum of the moon - to celebrate Earth Day, Leicester Cathedral has today announced that a floating replica of our planet - measuring seven metres in diameter - will be visiting the city on 17 May to 6 June. BBC Radio Leicester’s Ben Jackson spoke to Canon Karen Rooms in the Cathedral Gardens. To book your place to see 'Gaia' you'll need to visit the Leicester Cathedral website.
