Dr Nicki Lygo, a junior doctor based at Leicester Royal Infirmary, set up an appeal to have scrubs made for frontline healthcare workers in Leicester last year. Rebekah Vardy was tipped off about the initiative on Twitter by hospital staff, so she decided to anonymously donate £10,000 towards the cause. BBC Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter surprised Nicki by bringing the two together for a chat the first time.
