Leicestershire litter-picking group receive recognition from Sir David Attenborough

Breakfast on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

We're 12 days into March, and the South Leicestershire Litter Wombles have already collected over 3,000 bags of rubbish! And despite lockdown, this is three times the amount they did last March. Now, the group's local work has been recognised by a national treasure. Scott Gibbins is a volunteer litter Womble and he spoke to BBC Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter.
