Lauren Nicholls: 'I didn't want to stop playing netball once I had become a mum'

Mother's Day is a day that celebrates inspirational women who deserve some special recognition... Like the Loughborough Lightning player, Lauren Nicholls. She gave birth to her daughter, Maya, 18 months ago and is now hoping this season will be her first full season back on court since becoming a mum. BBC Radio Leicester’s Jimmy Carpenter spoke to Lauren and she started by telling him why she didn't want to stop playing netball once she became a parent.
