Trachoma is one of the oldest recognised diseases and can lead to blindness. Khadidiatou Cisse travelled to Benin to speak to sufferers of trachoma, as they receive the relatively simple operation to cure the disease. The surgery means their lives can go back to normal and their vision can be restored, even for those who have been suffering for years.
