Covid-19 survivor's vaccine plea

Breakfast on BBC Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

A Leicester man who almost died of coronavirus is urging people from black and ethnic minorities to get the vaccine. 44-year-old Joel Chigome, who's originally from Zimbabwe, says he's worried some people have been put off having the jab due to fake news and misinformation shared online. He spent three weeks on a ventilator last year and says despite that, he still has friends who won't have the jab. Joel spoke to BBC Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter.
