It’s that time of year when snowdrops are covering the countryside. But why do us Brits love the small white flower so much? Alan Street is the head nurseryman at Avon Bulbs and has spent many years of collecting, maintaining, cosseting and nurturing snowdrops. He had a chat with Simon Parkin on BBC Radio Somerset.
