How can we slow down antibiotic resistance?

Africa Life Clinic

Available for over a year

The best way to reduce antibiotic resistance is to stop people from being infected through measures such as only going to hospital if you need to and proper cleaning and sterilisation routines at medical facilities. It is also important for people to use antibiotics properly, as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Dr John Kiiru chats to BBC Africa Health Editor Anne Mawathe and explains what actions people can take to help slow the building of antibiotic resistance. (Picture: Antibiotics.
